Heteroperspective 2
Axbridge, nestling at the foot of the Mendip Hills, is often described as being "picturesque". The town square, with its mix of half-timbered buildings, Georgian facades and overlooked by the prominent church, epitomises our ideal of a rural English settlement.
The works in Heteroperspective II are studies of rooftops of Axbridge houses. Rather than trying to show the scope of the town, they instead attempt to convey some sense of the experience of "being here". They focus on details that [...]
